About the Program
Program Overview
All full-time LSS students are allowed one initial package of lessons included in their LSS tuition. This package includes ten (10) 45-minute lessons with premium certified teachers selected from the Aspen Music Festival and School
After the initial package of 10 lessons, families may purchase additional lesson packages at a discounted rate.
Participation in the program is accepted on a rolling basis.
Students are encouraged to register for successive packages.
Lessons are held on Forte – an online lesson platform with industry-leading audio.
Fully individualized learning designed to help you achieve your personal goals.
Program Participation Criteria
The program is offered for most Western orchestral instruments with a focus on classical music, as well as guitar and composition.
Students age 8-18 are welcome to participate, and no previous musical training is required.
Program Cost
The initial package of lessons is included in your LSS tuition. This package includes ten (10) 45-minute lessons with an AMFS certified teacher.
After the initial package has been completed, families may purchase additional packages at a discounted rate. Additional packages cost $480.00 and include six (6) 45-minute lessons with their AMFS certified teacher.
The AMFS Teachers
Teachers for the Forte Music Lesson Program are among the top musicians globally, hand-picked from the Aspen Music Festival and School (AMFS), one of the world’s most exclusive and competitive classical music festivals.
The AMFS accepts only the best pre-professional and professional musicians from around the world, most of whom come from top music colleges and conservatories. Not only are they exceptional musicians and performers, but these teachers have also been rigorously vetted by AMFS for their skills and experience as music educators. Some teachers are professionally performing orchestral players, opera singers, and concert pianists. Some teachers are on faculty in university music departments. Some are students at (or graduates of) the world’s top music colleges and conservatories. All of them are extraordinary musicians and teachers, and with the Forte Music Lesson Program through Laurel Springs School, you now have access to them all!
