What program options are available?
ICL Academy students may participate in a one-semester option with 12 private 45-minute lessons or a full-year option with 24 total lessons across the fall and spring semesters. ICL Academy and Forte will confirm the applicable option before lessons begin.
Who can participate and what instruments are available?
ICL Academy students of any age or experience level can participate. Forte supports a wide range of instruments and voice types, subject to teacher availability.
How are teachers selected?
Forte matches each student with a world-class teacher based on their instrument, goals, experience level, preferences, and schedule. Teachers are vetted by Virtu.Academy or partners including the Recording Academy and Aspen Music Festival and School.
How do recitals and academic credit work?
Forte hosts an online student recital near the end of each semester. Students may perform with their teacher's approval, and the recital is open to the ICL community. Students earn ICL Academy credit for completing their lessons.
